No Sew Dish Towel Kitchen Curtain

I have never had curtains on my kitchen window and didn’t want to screw a rod into our logs, so I found this spring loaded rod at Walmart of all places.

I draped an Ikea dish towels over the rod and pinned it with quilters pins.

You can even see the yellow heads on the pins.

No sew, no fuss, and I can get rid of the whole thing when I tire of it.

  1. That looks so cute Dawn, and I love the fact that you didn’t load the whole rod with fabric, just the one corner. I’m going to have to make a run to WM and look at the spring rod. Great minds think alike I just picked up some dishtowels yesterday to make a runner.

  2. Cute Dawn! I have used those spring rods several times!!

  4. Great idea! I love the Ikea towels too. I have so many in use and so many to use for projects. I was a little bummed when they recently raised the price from 49 cents each to 79 cents! 🙂

Your window is so pretty. I love the blue jars too!
