Re-Rooting a Plant from Cuttings

My Lemon Balm plant was looking a little wild and in need of a trim.
So rather than throw the cuttings away.  I had the idea to re-root them.
I placed each cutting into a small bottle filled with water.
I have been patiently waiting for 3 weeks to seem some roots.
And then Kaboom, over night there they were.
2 new root shoots from the bottom of the cutting.
Now I can start another plant.

Oh-I love to start new cuttings. Sadly sometimes I let them get so that they are really past replanting stage and kind of slimy. NOT GOOD! Enjoy the new “baby”. xo Diana

I love your blog, Dawn! I have been spending several hours each day in the garden, dividing plants, taking cuttings, and sowing seeds. I just lopped off the bottom of an onion and placed it in a pot, which I’ve never done before. I’m hoping my patience will pay off just as yours has. Happy gardening to you!
