Tomato Plants Arrived and Reuse of Plant Markers

The Heirloom Organic Tomato Plants that I ordered finally arrived.

I wanted Heirloom so I could save the seeds and grow my own next year.

I decided I needed to know which plant was planted where if I was going to save seeds.

So I recycled last years plant stakes.  A quick coat of black spray paint and I was back in business.  I used a white paint pen to add the tomato variety to the marker.

Two of the varieties I ordered had crop failure, so I guess I will make due with what they sent me.

While planting the tomatoes I found this broken robins eggs.  I left it there just because I love the color.
