Kitchen Window Treatment in a Log Home
I spend most of my time in the kitchen and was thinking I needed something to look at while I was standing at the sink.
I wanted a window treatment that didn’t block my view and would also let the breeze blow through.
I decided photos of things I love would work just fine.
So, off to the printer for some Black and White shots.
Scrounge up an old frame and give it a coat of “Warm Yellow” spray paint.
Add some chicken wire that I found behind the barn.
and call it good…
Now I can change out the prints and have something new to look at any time I want.

that’s a great idea! as you stand there, preparing or washing you can look at your photos and let your mind drift away to happy memories or even inspirations if you change out the photos to pictures of something you want to try someday…an actual real live pin board!!! 😉

Do I see Black-Eyed Susans? Used to be my state flower. Love them in the bark. The photos and frame are uniquely you. I really like them displayed like that. You have a knack for clever presentations. I live in a place so contrary to who I am, I long for escape to someplace more like me. You are so blessed.

Looks like a sweet little spot to stand at to work in the kitchen. Chores are way less like drudgery when we enjoy our surroundings. Looks like you have done well to create an oasis with your adorable design.
