Muffin Tins and Tea Lights

I’m giving the kitchen a cozy farmhouse feel for the holidays.

Here’s how I chose to decorate our kitchen island using nature, and things from my stash.

The smell of vanilla tea lights mixed with citrus welcomes you when you walk into the kitchen.

Old muffin tins get new life with a little spray paint, in Pistachio green.

Next out to the pine tree to gather some pine cones.

Load a vintage Pyrex bowl with oranges and let the smells mingle.

I’m really enjoying not spend lots to decorate this year and still getting the welcoming, rustic, cozy feel I was after.

You can see bits of the kitchen Christmas tree in some of the photos.  Stop back by to see it decorated. The 3 winners for the “JOY” vinyl stickers are:

I was just looking at my old muffin tins the other day. That is a great idea. It probably smells wonderful with the vanilla and citrus. Have a wonderful holiday!

Your cozy farmhouse Christmas kitchen is so lovely, Dawn! Your painted muffin tin is so pretty — great color, and looks so cozy with the tealites and pinecones.
