Pottery Barn Woody Pillow and a Vintage Child’s Cash Register

It seems I am running out of days to show my Christmas decor, so I have to pick and choose what I will post.

I knew the Pottery Barn Woody Pillow would have to be shown.
I sat down and quickly opened the holiday PB magazine and fell in love with Woody as soon as I saw her.

Then I looked at the price, I thought it was a bit much for a pillow cover, but I knew if I didn’t order quickly it would be sold out.  Off to the computer I went, placed it in the basket and hit send before I could back out.

I’m so glad I did.  I think this will be something I pull out every Christmas season.

On the table next to the sofa sits the vintage child’s cash register along with an enamel ware pan filled with paper whites.  All my paper whites have bloomed so far this season except the double bloom variety.

To Christmas up the register I added a tiny wreath.

I forgot to point out the red bell atop the Christmas tree, it jingles every time someone sits down.  It’s such a cheery sound.

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Good thing I don’t get the Pottery Barn catalog, I couldn’t have resisted either!
It’s a joke around here that when I strike it rich I’m going to buy a restored bright red Woody-I love them so much.
You home looks so cute. I like the idea of using children’s toys, like the register, for Christmas decor. There is really nothing more fun than watching the kiddies open their presents and having vintage toys displayed is a sweet reminder of that.

In fact, I never buy. They are too pricey! But had I seen that one, I fear I too may have hit the buy button!! It is darling!!!!!!
The cash register is so cute too. Man, I would love to go thrifting with you Dawn!
