This is my go to drink on a hot summer’s day it’s cool and refreshing and just seems to bring life back to my tired body, especially after a long day of gardening out in the heat and it couldn’t be easier to whip up. I even discovered our cat, Pirate Morgan Moon Scar, loves it. She seems to have the nose for mint and comes running when she catches a whiff of it. I normally catch her trying to drink out of my mason jar, so I have now learned to just make a bowl up for her while I am making mine or I am continuously fighting the cat for my drink.
What you need:
- Container with a lid
- Drinking Water
- Mint leaves
Place all the ingredients into the contain, put the lid on, and give it a good shake. The ice will bruise the mint leaves enough to release the oil and flavor the water, add a straw and sip away (you can also use the mint in the same way with iced tea). Simple, refreshing summer pick me up. What could be easier?
