Has anyone read through Dr. Phil’s new book, “The 20/20 Diet”? I happened to pick up a copy because I knew there would be some recipes I would like to try. There’s several weight loss smoothie recipes if you’re looking for a quick meal that fills you up and is easy to prepare. Below is one of my favorite smoothie recipes. Give it a try, you’ll be amazed at how long it holds off the hunger.
With age, I mean after 40 and hormone changes, (Oh my did I say that? I still have my kids convinced I’m 29) weight loss seems impossible. I eat clean and exercise every day, right now I’m doing the 21 Day Fix workout DVD’s and let me tell you they kick butt every day, and I still seem to stay the same size. I don’t want to be Twiggy but it would be nice to put on a pair of pants and not have a muffin top. I’ve recently lost 30 pounds after a horrible fall last winter. It took me 5-6 months before I could walk normal again and I was unable to exercise during that time. So the weight I lost was just what was gained during that time.
I say now that I’ve lost the fat on top of the fat. I would like to shed 20 more pounds before summer hits, so wish me luck.
