I was prepared to show you the kitchen today all decorated for Christmas, but for some reason I looked up and thought to myself that “SWEET TEA” sign has to go. It looks a bit summery amongst all the Christmas stuff. I happened to have one picket left from when I made the Sweet Tea sign, and it was already painted white so I decided to use it to make something more fitting for the winter month (more fitting for Michigan anyway.)
If you missed the earlier post on how to make these easy farmhouse style signs you can find the tutorial and material list here. It’s a very easy project to do. I actually was waiting for a friend to come over so I quickly whipped it up while I waited for her. I like the size of the sweet tea sign better but I made do with what was already around.
I think the “Ski Rental” sign fits in better for winter. It actually snowed for the first time this year while I was putting it up. We went from 70 one day to 29 and snowing the next. Ah, the joys of living in Michigan.
