Kitchen Christmas Trees in Galvanized Buckets Dotted with Glitter Paper SnowflakesDo you do any Christmas decorating in your kitchen? My island is so long, 9ft, that there’s plenty of room for a little Christmas decor. I’ve had the faux trees for years and they’re a favorite of mine. They seem to get used every year somewhere in the house, and this year I decided to place them in the kitchen.

Kitchen Christmas Trees in Galvanized Buckets Dotted with Glitter Paper Snowflakes

Kitchen Christmas Trees in Galvanized Buckets Dotted with Glitter Paper SnowflakesI gathered up my favorite galvanized sap buckets, added the trees, and used curtain valances as the fabric around each tree base to match the curtain in the kitchen window. No matter how I use these trees I think they always look perfect. This year I hot glued tiny glitter stars randomly to the branches.

Kitchen Christmas Trees in Galvanized Buckets Dotted with Glitter Paper SnowflakesI used my Martha Stewart paper punch to make the snowflakes. I’m still motivated by keeping it simple, it’s a lot of work to decorate to the hilt and the worst part is dusting it all through the month of December. I think that’s why I don’t have a lot of knick knack items….I hate to dust.

Kitchen Christmas Trees in Galvanized Buckets Dotted with Glitter Paper SnowflakesThe nice thing about this arrangement is it’s easy to move at any time. I may move it before Christmas gets here and do something different but for now it’s staying. Come back on Friday to see a simple Christmas craft project I’ve been working on.

What a great idea. I find that I love the simply décor better. Your island looks so inviting . Your home always looks so nice and cozy.

Cheryl I love simple too. It doesn’t require much thought or much time to create and I like it just as much as going all out.

It looks absolutely amazing. Simple but with a spark. My husband would have a fit if I did that in the kitchen! Don’t you just love the holidays? Enjoy the rest of the week????

Great minds think alike. When I could not sleep last night, I typed a list of To Do’s into my phone. One of them was to find 3 tiny Christmas trees (my table is not 9 feet long) to place in buckets and spread out along our dining room table.

I’m a fan of simple. The trees look very pretty in the sap buckets with the little snowflakes on them.

Thank you Linda I always think simple works with my house better than all the glitz and glitter associated with Christmas. I love that look but it doesn’t love my house.

Shirley I’ve had the trees and buckets forever and never seem to get tired of them. I love it when I make a purchase that gets used for years and years.
