No Bake Cheese Cake: Easy, Fast, Family Favorite

I just love “The Pioneer Woman“, with all her down home recipes and ranch living. I record most of the episodes and try to catch up when I can. Last weekend she made a yummy, No Bake Cheesecake and I knew it would be on my list of things to make this week. As most of you know I have been busy with baseball season so easy and fast were definitely a hit with me. This desserts so so rich and delicious you will never guess how easy it is to make. My kids dove right in and devoured it, oh and hubby got his fair share too. I did manage to save enough servings to take to the baseball game for the players to eat between games and let me tell you they thought it was gourmet food.

For me I get tired of making the same old recipes so I’m pleased when I find a new one that’s a keeper and this one is for sure. Do you get tired of thinking up new dinner and dessert things to make too? I don’t mind cooking or baking but sure run out of creativity from time to time. Watching the food channels is a great way to get some new ideas. I’m not a fancy cooker, I don’t want a list of ingredients I can’t pronounce or find in a grocery store, my family just want’s good ole hearty meals at the end of the day. Oh, and a little treat for dessert ๐Ÿ™‚

    PS Happy Mother’s Day!!

    1. Kris, I don’t own any books, but should ask for them as gifts I guess. It’s to easy to just pin the recipe and make it form there.

  3. Oh this looks delish…and easy too. Right up my alley!

    1. Ann, easy is the best part and it’s tasty too. The only downfall is the family eats it up in one sitting.

  4. I am right with you with the Pioneer Woman’s recipes…and her style. There is nothing better then delicious food that doesn’t take hours to prepare!

    1. Christine, that’s what I love too. Simple, easy meals that the family loves.

My mouth is watering just looking at the recipe!! My mom used to make cheesecake for any and every special occasion. Unfortunately the recipe was in her head and not on paper! As (bad) luck would have it, my son-in-law and grandchildren have severe allergies to cheese!!!! UGH!!! Growing up, my daughter ate all kinds of cheese and is truly heartbroken when she has to limit her intake in the house. For this reason, when they come over I never make anything with cheese!! This looks easy enough to make for the two of us! LOL!! Our friends and hubby’s brothers don’t like cheese cake!! what’s wrong with them??? This must be the acquired French taste from my mother – we had cheese with everything – brie, camembert, goat cheese, smelly cheese and soft cheese!! great accompanied with wine…lol!

    1. Yes this is so easy to make. I whip it up all the time. It’s a favorite around here.

I agree this looks like a quick and easy recipe. I just found this sight and I just love it. A few months ago I found a recipe in some of my ancient magazines for something called a fluff dessert. I called for a package of jello you make and let it set up for an hour and then add a can of condensed milk and whip it into a fluff. Looked good, but I was thinking coring out cupcakes and filling them with the fluff. Of course then they would have to be refrigerated, but might be a cool alternative cup cake. It’s only me and Jim now, so I can’t try too many sweets cause there are just the 2 of us!

    1. Cathy, using the fluff sounds so yummy. I always have a bunch of kids here so desserts are always in order.
