Spring BloomsFirst I want to start you off with some pretty pictures of my Mother’s Day flowers. This is the batch that my oldest sons, girlfriend brought to me. They are just beautiful and I was so surprised to get something from her she even made it a point to spend the whole day with me. My boys brought me Roses and a very fitting card, I have such thoughtful kids.

Now on to the dilemma…..I need your help!!! Could you please take a minute to answer the question below and leave your answer in the comment section? Just to fill you in a little, there seems to be several issues with being able to receive new blog posts by email. Every blogger is having the trouble and I need to narrow down what is going on, so your help would greatly be appreciated.

Joy is a Flower Blooming

How do you Follow Creative Cain Cabin and know when new posts are available?

  • Email ~ If so what email service do you use? (Yahoo, AOL, Gmail….)
  • RSS
  • Blogroll
  • Bloglovin
  • Bookmarking the Site
  • Other ~ Please indicated what that is.

Just to let you know I put new post up 3 to 4 times a week and if you follow by email you should get that number of emails from me also. Please let me know if it’s been a while since you’ve seen an email.

Spring BloomsI’m working diligently on getting the issue resolved and I know other bloggers are working on it as well. Thank you for taking the time to answer the question today 🙂 you are all the best!

The way I keep in touch with my favourite sites is to add them to my own link list which I keep at the bottom of my posts pages. When you add a new post it automatically pops your site to the top of the list. I do follow you on Facebook as well but never use that as a means to visit your blog. I have Bloglovin but never use that site for updates, in fact when I looked I didn’t have your site there so just added it. I do receive replies to my comments via email. I also just signed up for email notification so I can let you know if it works or not.

I was subscribing through Yahoo mail. But after not getting any mail from bloggers, I switched to bloglovin.

I use feedly.com and I get all of your posts! I would notice if I didn’t because I’m originally from Michigan and look forward to your posts. They’re like news from home!

Barb, that’s good to know. I don’t always put all my post on FB so I better start doing that. My FB page is normally a couple of days behind.

I used to get your emails as well as many others that I follow, however out of the clear blue sky about 90% of the blogs that I follow via email stopped coming to me. So now I follow through bloglovin. I prefer emails but this is ok too. I don’t understand what happened.

Hi dawn, I get your post in my email on my ipad. Comes through every day. Love your ideas and your home looks just so beautiful. I live in British Columbia Canada. Been busy planting and my son always buys me plants for my garden for Mother’s Day. His girlfriend bought me flowers too! Hope you’re weather warms up soon for you. Going up to 85 f today. Too hot but shouldn’t complain. I will be using your weed concoction for sure. Have a wonderful day. Lynell

Lynell, Thank you for letting me know. I think maybe more people are getting the post than I think. We are back in the 50’s here and I have more weeds to spray. I will have to wait for it to warm up again.

I follow you through feedly. I started using it when google reader shut down. I’ve been happy with it pretty much though I’ve had some difficulty in managing some sites. I go to the site & read posts through rather than fill my inbox with lots of emails. I never miss a post!
