Over the next few weeks I will be featuring Christmas Porches that you won’t want to miss.  I have picked some of my favorites and know you will
love them too.
Welcome everyone.  Sit back and enjoy the front porch tour with
Laura and Andrea from Cottage and Broome

We are enjoying a weekend at the cottage before the busyness of the holidays are in full force at home. We just got back for our town’s holiday kick off called, Flurry Fest. They have a large tent set up in the park downtown and various stores and restaurants provide hot chocolate tasting and you get to vote for your favorite. A different pairing this year was hot chocolate, peanut butter and curry, hum….. interesting. I’m still on a little bit of a sugar buzz..

We then moved on to a little porch decorating. I really wanted a baby Christmas tree to put in the vintage wagon but no such luck, no little trees. So plan B, I propped up a tree against the house and the table. I was afraid the tree would get blown over in a stand. It can get really windy up here in northern Michigan in the winter time.
I left the bird houses I used in the fall decorating, added a star, birds, greens and red beaded garland.

I also added a vintage wagon and skates!
My porch bunny wanted to join the decorating. She is wearing her vintage pearl collar of the occasion.
Here is one last photo with some fun effects, I think the porch looks like it is lit up with red Christmas lights.
Now all we need is piles of snow and the decorating will be complete. I’m really hoping for a white Christmas. How about you you?

Thanks you so much for showing off your beautiful decorated porch
Laura and Andrea.
I know everyone had a wonderful time, so hop on over to
 Cottage and Broome
and take a minute to enjoy their blog.

Great inspiration Dawn, this is particularly cute for Northern Michigan. The bunny sitting on the chair just tugged at my heart, I think I’m in love with him. Thanks for sharing.
