Colorful Bedroom With Jeweled Damask Quilt
While drooling over Pinterest, I came upon a quilt that really struck my fancy. I pinned it to my Pinterest Bedroom Board, only later to see the exact quilt, of all places, at Wally World.
First off I seldom go into that store, and never to shop for a quilt. I happened to be getting Greek Yogurt, and spotted the quilt on a clearance rack. I said to myself, Holy Guacamole you mean that fantastic piece is from WMart??? I thought to myself what the heck, I’ll give it a whirl.
So into the cart it went. It’s definately a summer quilt, not heavy weight at all, just the way I like them. By the way it’s reversible (I’ll be back to show you that later) so I feel like I got a real bargain, 2 quilts for the price of one.
I’m really enjoying the bright colors. With log walls I have to perk up the place somehow, and fabric is always what makes sense to me. Did you happen to notice the control on my night stand? It’s to my electric blanket and I hate to admit but I’m still using it some nights 🙁
I sure hope I can remove it from the bed soon, and officially say it’s summer, it is almost June after all. I did take the flannel sheets off, so I’m moving in the right direction.

You were meant to go into Walmart for something else and find that quilt. It is gorgeous, I love paisley patterns.
Linda, I guess so it was the only store in the area so I went in. Our Walmarts here are nasty so I always pick somewhere else to grocery shop, but I had no choice this time and it was a good thing.

Dawn, the colors in the quilt are gorgeous and look fabulous in your cabin! We use an electric blanket during the winter but it came off the bed about 2 months ago. But I wished I had it back on the bed last night because Leo likes to keep it so cold in the house during the summer! Oh well, the flannel pjs helped!

PS I ordered a white down comforter from an affiliate link to another blog. It said Wayfair but when I received it via UPS, the package read Walmart. It’s been a great purchase.
