Easy Rustic, Natural Element Winter Tray
I’ve had this round wooden tray hanging around for a few years now. I purchased it at GW and never knew what to do with it. I thought about painting it from time to time, but never got around to it.
So this year I decided to create a coffee table vignette using the tray, some oversized pine cones, and a few ornaments. It took about 3 minutes to pull together (just the way I like it…easy….theses days) and fits into the cabin just perfectly for Chrismtas.
Now I’m glad I picked the tray up, and will use it for other vignettes from here on out. By the way the tree you see undecorated in the background finally got some attention. After having it in the house for over a week I finally found the time to decorate it. I will show it to you in the next post.
So Pretty Dawn!!
Thank you Martina I think the simple, easy look turned out better than if I had planned an elaborate display.
Trays are amazing! Love the stripes on yours.
Thank Ann and just think I thought about painting it.
I love everything about it!
Thank you Ellie, sometimes easy is the best way.
Just what I like Dawn..easy and pretty!
Nancy, I am all about easy this year. I had a full load of classes so there was no extra time for me.
So cute Dawn and I cannot wait to see the tree decorated. Looks like a very pretty tree.
Kris
Kris, I did manage to decorate the tree, it’s just not the same when no one want’s to help.
I have my bulbs in a polka dot bowl, but I wish I had a wooden dough bowl or a wooden tray.
Carol that bowl is huge and I only paid $3 for it. It was a great find for sure.
That is such a pretty centre piece . Easy is the way to go !
Cheryl, yes I’m all about easy this year.
