Fall Centerpiece

Pumpkin and Flower Centerpiece

I want to show you how you can incorporate a little Faux into your Fall Centerpiece. Sometimes it’s not always possible to have fresh flowers around and once in a while I have to resort to the next best thing. This Fall Centerpiece took all of 2 minutes to construct. I like something seasonal on the dining room table and I have found some faux flowers from Hobby Lobby that I really like, so why not use them? I started with a vintage grain sack runner, added a galvanized sap bucket full of flowers, and the final touch is the faux pumpkin that my Mom gifted me.

Fall Flowers

Not everything you create has to be a masterpiece, sometimes simple is better. This little number will carry me all the way through Thanksgiving, all I will need to do to give it a new look is add a burlap or gingham bow around the bucket. I think for faux flowers these look pretty darn good. I think the trick is to buy good quality, the ones from the dollar store just won’t due.

Fall Faux Flower Centerpiece

Do you sneak a few fake flowers into your design scheme ever? Sometimes it just has to be done, and in the long run I think you will enjoy not having to change out an arrangement to quickly. Take a wander around a craft store and see if you can find any fabulous fakes for fall.  Here’s a couple more ideas for fall “Fall Junk Mantel”and a “Way to use Sunflowers”.
