Found it on Pinterest – Fab or Flop – Orange Garland
Today’s
Found it on Pinterest – Fab or Flop!!
guest post is by Jean from Ruby and Arthur !
Here’s how it works:
- Search Pinterest for hours like we all do.
- Find something that either saves you money to make, is healthier to make, or just catches your eye and you would love to give it a try.
- Make it, bake it, sew it, or duplicate in some way and declare it either.
A Pinterest Fab or a Pinterest Flop
Here’s what I did with a bag of tangerines that I bought by mistake.
(I didn’t know they had seeds in them).
I headed over to Pinterest to get some ideas.
Dehydrated Orange Slice Garland!
Slice oranges into thin slices and bake at 200 degrees for 4-5 hours, turning them every hours.
Remove from oven and let set on the counter for another day to finish drying.
String them and decorate!
I just love how Jean has used her mistake and turned it
into something beautiful.

Dawn, thanks so much for letting me share my Pinterest project with you! Just love your blog, Jean
Pinterest Fab or Flop is a great idea! I’m determined to start working my way through my pins this winter.
I really like this idea, and can imagine it would smell heavenly. I saw a similar idea, but the person had dusted her sliced citrus with powdered sugar before baking. She said it made them glossier.

Great way to use those tangerines! I’ve been wanting to dry some oranges….going to do this now! I bet the kitchen smelled great too!

It looks wonderful. I try to get in and out of Pinterest fast because it eats time.
