Girly Up Your Golf Towel
Turn an ordinary hand towel into a fabulous golf towel.
What you will need
Hand Towel
Grommet Kit
Buttons of your Choice
3 Choices of Scrap Fabric
Needle and Thread
Scissors
First use the grommet kit and make the whole where the towel will hang from. Follower the directions on the package for this.
Cut out (3) 3″ circles from each fabric selection.
Giving you 9 circles total.
Choose a circle and make a pinch in the fabric, overlapping it slightly and put a stitch to hold it in place.
This will be the first layer to your flower.
Choose a different pattern of fabric for the second layer, and do the same make a slightly larger pinch in the fabric this time from both directions making it appear like an X in the middle of the fabric. This will make the circle slightly smaller than the first. Stitch to hold in place on top of the first circle.
Do the same with the third fabric only taking a larger pinch in both directions and stitch in place on top of fabric two.
Secure a button of your choice in the middle of each circle, stitch each flower, by hand, onto the towel.
You will have the best looking golf towel on the course.
There’s plenty of time to get some made for Mothers Day gifts.
Enjoy!
