I was thinking back this week and realized I have never decorated for Halloween, even when my kids were little. As a child I was afraid to trick-or-treat but dressed up every year and did it. I wonder now why I forced myself to go along with it all.
I have lived in the country all my life and have never had anyone knock on our door, with bag open, waiting for a candy treat. Hubby and I have discussed many times what we wouldn’t give a trick-or-treater and decided a $1 bill would have to do. I always have homemade treats but would dare give them out, and I always have fruit but I think kids would rather a sugar filled treat any day.
I decided I would have one piece of Halloween decor this year and it would be a chalkboard printable. I will swap out my Fall Wreath Printable for the Chalkboard Printable. It shouldn’t take long, the frame is already in place.
