January Felt Christmas Ornaments

For those of you who are following along with Claudia and I in our monthly “Christmas Ornament Felt Along Series” it’s time to link up and show off the darling critters you have made. For our first month the patterns that were available were the Owl and the Bear. If you are still interested in sewing along with us it’s not to late. Below you will find January’s patterns and here you will find a material list. The next 2 patterns for February are available for download also..

I’ve had some questions about linking up to the party if you don’t have a blog…..Well, here’s an alternative, if you have a “Facebook” page.

How to add a photo link from Facebook

First make sure you have the photo of your felt critter added to your Facebook page, an easy way to do it is with your smart phone.

STEP 1: Make sure your photo is showing up in your own profile page (this is where you will only see your own posts) referred to as your profile page.

STEP 2: Find the photo of your felt ornament (I am using the photo of oranges for this tutorial) click on the date beside your profile picture right where the arrow shows in the photo above.

STEP 3: From there your photo will open up with a list of choices on the right side under the photos. Click on the choice “GET LINK”.

STEP 4. A window will pop up with your link highlighted in blue. You will need to copy that link to your clipboard and come back to the linky party.

Linky Tool

BOX 1: This is where you will place the “LINK” you just coppied to your clipboard from Fabebook

BOX2: Give your picture a name or description

BOX 3: Add your email address

BOX 4: You will need to choose the option “FROM FILE” and this is where you will find your photo on your computer and add it to the Linky Party.

It is truly easy to do and also an alternative way to join in on the party without having a blog. I hope more are able to join this way ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Debra, funny you mentioned the WIWW posts I just commented to another blogger that I hadn’t done it in forever. For now it is not on my to do list but you never know when it may return. Thanks for stopping in and mentioning it ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you
download it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really
make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your design.
    Bless you
