Here is the Summer look at the Cabin.

I swapped the sofa slipcovers out and used the ones called
“Butter”

I also use the “Butter” slipcover on one chair.

The bird pillow came from TJMaxx and the patchwork one behind it was thrifted.

I use the “Henna” slipcover on the other side chair.

The sofa pillows are also from TJMaxx.

The coffee table was a dining table that I cut the legs down on.
The base is Martha Stewarts “Cornbread Yellow” and the top is ASCP in “Country Grey” heavily distressed.

I’m still using my thrifted laundry cart to hold my quilts.

The green children’s school chairs were thrifted and often used as foot stools.

The fan is from Lowes and it’s a favorite of mine.  It is all heavy metal construction and comes apart so easy.  I hate seeing a fan with dust on the blades.

The old bottle is filled with rocks and used as a door stop.

The mantel is decorated with whatever I have on hand at the moment.

I also swapped out the curtains for yellow and white buffalo check.

Thanks for taking the tour!!

Your living room looks so bright, sunny & cheerful, Dawn! You’ve used one of my fave color combos — yellow & red. That combination just says “Happy” to me.

How cheerful! I really like the yellow touches. I am a sucker for checked material in anything; so the curtains really caught my eye. 🙂 someday I will have slip covered sofas! 🙂

Hope you had a great weekend.
