Master Bedroom, Buffalo Check, and Turquoise

Master Bedroom in a Log Homes Loft | Buffalo Check Fabric and Turquoise Pops of Color | Creativecaincabin.comFollowOnFacebookHappy Sunday everyone, around here today we are getting ready for a big snow storm. It looks like 10-12″ is coming our way. Hubby and I ran a few errands yesterday and stopped by the grocery store for a mini cart load of items (you know those tiny carts that look like there made for kids) anyway what a big mistake that was. The checkout lines were halfway through the store, it took us an hour of standing in line before it was our turn. I think my big bag of frozen blueberries even had time to defrost. People sure do act crazy when a storm is coming. Anyway this is what I wanted to show you today. I made a few color changes in the master bedroom.

You all know my friend Kris from Junk Chic Cottage right? Well I got this wonderful email from her right after Christmas, she was taking down her red and white themed decor and thought many of the items would look great in our home and wanted to know if I would like them. Well heck ya, I was delighted Kris thought of me (she’s just sweet that way). In the box was the red and white buffalo check fabric curtain (amongst several other things, more on that in a later post).

I think they look beautiful in our loft bedroom and what a kind, caring person to offer everything to me. I just love my fellow bloggers they truly are a fantastic group of people. To add a little Valentine’s flair to the bedroom I made the paper heart garland on the quilt cabinet.
