God because he loved us so very much sent us Jesus to light our way and show us how we should live. If we would only listen to His Words and not be deafen by the world. Santa Clause God gave us to instill in us that giving/caring about others. We have been called to do just that to demonstrate our love for Him, but we have taken “giving” to a bad place namely, Gluttony of all things material including food which makes us neither happy nor full of the peace of God. It’s not the stores and media that have corrupted us and hijacked Christmas. It really hit me this year when I was watching Rick Steves’ European Christmas. They sure do know how to celebrate life and feel good. Merry Christmas Season to all and to all a peaceful Christ-filled life
