Do you ever just impulse buy? Well I had a weak moment while in Wally World, I spotted this cute as ever Owl Mug on the clearance rack and it flew right into my cart. Did I need it, NO….but sometimes a $2 item just makes my heart happy.
And that’s how it was with this piece of pottery. I had no idea how I’d use it since I don’t drink coffee, but it was going home with me anyway. MY first thought was to use it in my sewing room as storage but when I got home I auditioned in several spots and liked being able to see it all the time. So it ended up in the living room filled with zinnias from my cut garden.
Did you notice that vintage doily underneath it? While my friend Lisa and I were in Shipshewana I found it along with a pretty turquoise one and had to have them, (another impulse buy). Geesh, I didn’t think I was an impulse shopper but now I’m rethinking it.
This simple little purchase made my day. I’m so glad I didn’t talk myself out of it. So tell me are you an impulse shopper or do you only purchase things you need?
