Log Home Kitchen | White Kitchen | Painted Bar Stools | Pops of Color | CreativeCainCabin.comI was in desperate need of a makeover for my bar stools, if you remember they were green before, I liked the color but it was time for something new and neutral. I picked the color Pebble, by Reclaim Beyond Paint and gave them new life. You’ve all heard me say this before, painting is not my favorite thing to do so anytime I can save time I run the paint through my sprayer. And that’s exactly what I did this time. I had the whole project done in under 30 minutes and they were back in my kitchen and I used just over 1/2 a quart.

We’ve been living with the color for about two weeks now and I must say it cleanses up fantastic and is very durable. My son comes home from work very dirty greasy, and before washing up he always sits down at the island. I in turn have to wipe grease from the bar stool every day. I just use a kitchen wipe in the pop up dispenser and it comes perfectly clean, just like the day I painted them.

Dawn your kitchen looks awesome! My I ask what type of paint sprayer you use? I been wanting to buy one but there are so many to choose from.

    1. Jamie, I have this sprayer >http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=463918-48690-16N659&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=4459193&catalogId=10051&cmRelshp=req&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1, a cordless one and a very expensive one all in the same brand but I find the one with the link I provided is the one I use the most.

      1. Dawn, do you buy the 100% cotton gingham fabric or do you buy the one that is polyester and cotton? I just want to make sure I purchase the correct fabric. This will be my first time purchasing fabric online and this will be my first sewing project.
