PRIVILEGE GREEN PAINTED ENTRY DOOR IN A RUSTIC LOG CABIN! PAINT COLOR BY SHERWIN WILLIAMS.
Good morning, Iโm glad to see everyone back joining us in our Cozy Series hosted by Jennifer from Town-n-Country Living. Sheโs gracious enough to put this all together for us and I hope you enjoy what everyone has to share today. Grab a cup of tea, put your feet up, and enjoy. Oh! And donโt forget to click the links below for more cozy ideas.
So this girlโs been on a roll, a paint roll that is. I went to town painting all our interior doors that lead to the exterior of the cabin. If you follow me on IG I took a vote on what colors to use for our French doors and Iโll be back soon to show you those, but while I was at it I decide to paint the main doors also.
To tie our paint colors together I went with Privilege Green from Sherwin Williams the same color I used in our laundry room, and on our kitchen island. The only difference is I used semi gloss on the doors; it makes for an easier surface to clean. All the men in our home enter with dirty hands and the doors show it after a while.
If you scroll to the bottom of this post the last photos the color our doors previously were painted in the color, Pennies From Heaven. I always felt like the color blended well with the log color but I was ready for a change. Iโm surprised I kept the same color for eight years but somehow itโs been overlooked and passed by.
My men folk were out of town on a job so I got busy painting doors. I donโt know why but Iโm the type person that needs to be by myself to get big projects done. I donโt want things interfering throughout the day while I try and work. So I gathered my supplies, tuned into one of my favorite pod casts, and started painting. Iโm digginโ the green, how about you?
Donโt forget to visit the links below and have a spectacular weekend everyone!
Lauri, loner project girls unite. I guess I like to do things my own way, and I also like to be tidy when I work and others in my home are not that way, lol.
Oh my goodness…..Iโve been struggling with choosing a color for the interior of the doors at our new cabin for weeks. They are white (which I donโt like at all) and Iโve been vacillating between black, a coppery color that would blend with the pine t&g walls, or a sage green. Somehow I happened upon this post today and seeing your beautiful photos sealed the deal for me! Privilege Green went on today and both my husband and I absolutely love them. But now I canโt stop scrolling through your posts as your style and mine seem so similar that Iโm basically enthralled!

I’m loving the green! I’m such a big fan of greens, so this is right up my alley and the fresh flowers is the perfect spring touch!
Thanks Amanda I’m loving the color green right now too!
I love the green so much better than the copper color. A rustic cabin should have the outside coming in, and your green doors do just that.
Thank you Pat, I’m not sure what took me so long to make the change.
It’s a beautiful green! What color is the outside part of the door?
Debbie the outside is a tanish gray that matches the trim and ceiling of the porch.
That green is perfection and I’m the same, I like to do my projects without any distractions too! Your door looks so so good!

What a gorgeous hue. It looks beautiful on your door. So ready for spring!
Thank you Danielle I agree it’s the perfect green color.

Thanks Jennifer I’m so glad I finally moved forward and changed their color, I’m loving the green.
I’m loving the green doors, Dawn! And, I work the same way! Clear out and let me do my thing!!!
Doreen, good to hear I’m not alone with how I work.
