Snow Globe Gift Tag

It seems like Christmas is almost upon us and I am running out of days to get all my posts in. This is a favorite gift tag design of mine and I wanted to make it available to everyone. I hope you’re getting the gift wrapping done and taking advantage of my free tags. Snow Globe Gift Tag

I have no gifts to wrap this year both my boys are teens and only want cash. It makes me a little sad but that’s what happens when the kids grow up. I have enjoyed seeing all my fellow bloggers get creative with their wrapping skills this year, there are some beautiful packages out there; so pretty I would hate to unwrap them.

I was the type of kid that always found the seam on the package and opened it carefully, keeping the paper and bows in tact, I don’t remember how my brother opened his, I will have to ask him. We also opened things one at a time, and admired each persons gift before moving on to something else. I know some families just start in tearing paper all at once. I guess I enjoy our family’s traditional way, it’s nice to see what each person gets and watch the excitement on their face. It seems like with age these memories seem to flood back in, I certainly didn’t take notice as a child.

I also followed in my Moms footsteps this year and made the traditional sugar Christmas cookies topped with thick icing in pretty holiday colors, and also a big batch of Chex mix. Well that enough reminiscing for the day….

What’s your family’s way of opening gifts? Did you continue any family Christmas traditions from childhood?

  1. Hi Dawn! Thank you for all of these little tags, I just love them. I don’t like the ‘everybody flying into their presents’. We always take turns too. I’m wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas.
