Spring Floral Arrangement
We had some heavy rains yesterday and the grass is starting to green up…..finally, I thought spring was never coming. Just because the calendar says it’s spring doesn’t mean Mother Nature was given the memo. So to make my home look springy I gathered up some faux’s for a small table arrangement.
I used the dollar store vases that I painted in pretty candy colors and loaded them with some faux blooms. I always prefer real flowers, but it’s not always possible so I do resort to using these in between seasons.
I’m in hopes of having REAL daffodil blooms soon, I did see them poking through the soil but until then……
faux’s will have to do.

Laura we’ve had two days of rain but that’s what we need here to bring the frost out of the ground. It was a hard winter and so far spring isn’t shaping up to be very nice either 🙁
We had heavy downpours overnight and this morning are getting a thunder storm rumble through. Yes, time for the faux to come out and bring some colour. I’ve already got my boot planters filled with daft and tulips as it will be a few weeks yet till we see any real blooms.
Linda it’s been crazy weather here too. I know we need the rain to bring the frost out of the ground but it would be nice if we could see some sunshine too.

Chickens are such funny critters. We had them on the farm when I was growing up . You can’t beat the fresh eggs and meat..however I hated cleaning the coop out . I love your ideas for your coop…you did really well hardly spending any money.
