My son needed video game storage in the man cave and also a place to put his feet up, since his room is already decorated in the Confederate Flag decor, I decided to go with it and transform this old cedar chest to match.
This is how it looked when we bought it for $15 at a garage sale.

I scraped the veneer off the top with the help of Hubby and his Multi-Master.

Then used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to transform the chest.

Emperor’s Silk (Red)
Country Grey (Off White)
I made my own chalk paint with Sherwin Williams Naval Blue (Blue).

Chalk Paint Recipe
2/3 part water based paint of your choice
1/3 part plaster of paris.
Mix well and add water until it reaches the consistency you like.

I knocked the legs off and added casters, (more Manly)

I think it will look great in my Sons space.
Is there a Little Rebel in your style!!!

Do you like your homemade chalk paint as much as the Annie Sloan paint? I’m about to purchase some but I will make it instead if you think it’s as good.

Look closely at accounts that are delayed or perhaps in collections that may need to
be fixed up immediately Payday Loans you have no idea of of any situation
that you are able to do, but vanish disappointed.
