Waterlogue Wednesday

Waterlogue AppWaterlogue AppI am so in love with the Waterlogue App that’s available for iphone and ipad, I just can’t get enough of it. My youngest son even said, “Mom do you waterlogue everything?” I had to chuckle because he is right I seem to waterlogue a big portion of my iphone photos. For those of you who don’t have an Apple device, I have come up with a tutorial to get the watercolor effect using the free service PicMonkey, so come back next week and learn how to do this without an iphone. As you can see by some of the photos we are into baseball season. Much of my time is spent at the game taking photos, running the concession stand, and making food for the team. We have had some 70 degree days and also a lot of 50 degree days. I’m not sure if the winds are an issue where you live, but here they are strong and don’t seem to let up. If this is how the summer is going to be I will never have a good hair day.

I’ll be back next week for sure to check out your tutorial!
OMG, I can’t believe you have such nice weather finally.
If you don’t get blown away, that is….

    1. Kim, I fear our whole spring and summer will be windy. Even at 50 it is so cold because of the wind. Been wearing winter coats at the baseball games.

  2. I love my waterlogue app, love doing the grandkids! Love your baseball one too!

    1. Rondell, I haven’t tried using it on people yet other than the back side of the baseball team. How do faces look waterlogued?

    1. Thank you Martina it’s such a fun way to take a photo to that next level.

  3. Your pictures are beautiful Dawn. I’ve been playing on my tablet with Sketch Guru.

    1. Dee, I have never heard of that, I will have to look for it.

  4. I adore Waterlogue too. Love your app images dawn. I really like what the app does with buildings.

    1. Olive, I will have to find some old buildings and give it a try. Thanks for the tip ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Dawn I love this effect and can see how you could get caught up in applying it to all your pictures. I’ll have to give it a try…I think I’ll wait for your PicMonkey version next week. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Char, you will love the app if you get it. The app is easier to use than PicMonkey by far.

  6. This is fun but what ever happened to “What I Wore Wednesday”??? I used to get so inspired by your outfit combos and jewelry, etc. You always made me rethink and or think up combos a little outside the norm, but super fun and chic!! You really inspired me. Maybe I didn’t let you know, I don’t think I commented much back then, but I’m more comfortable now with bloggy stuff. Just wondering????

    Toodles, Barbi

    1. Barbi, I just felt my blog was going in a different direction so it’s something I stopped doing. Maybe at some point it will come back ๐Ÿ™‚
