Wooden Coasters with Painted Candy Dots
This is an easy to do Summer craft project, and looks great in any outdoor space, poolside or anywhere you want to add a pop of candy color.
I’ve used these wooden coasters all over my home but decided I was ready for something fun and colorful to set my cold drink on. I always use glass and they sweat so bad I like to have something absorbent underneath the base.
It only took me about 10 minutes from start to finish and I even sealed them with a coat of clear spray paint. All you need is acrylic craft paint in any colors and a large school pencil with a new eraser.
Just dip the eraser end into that paint and make neat, perfect dot’s all over the wooden coaster. You can make any pattern I just chose dots.
Paint Colors By: Apple Barrel
Spiced Carrot | Caribbean| Yellow Flame | Spring Green | Honeysuckle Pink

Shirley, this would be a great project for the kids to do. It’s so easy and you can buy the wooden disks at Hobby Lobby if you don’t have a branch to cut up.
