A look back at July…..Hot temps, an injured dog, a graduation ceremony, plenty of painting projects, a slipcover change, and a few printables with a recipe thrown into the mix.   All you need to do is click on any of the photos above to read the entire post. So for July, it’s a WRAP!

Here’s what I’ve been crushing on for July…..Dark Walnut Paint! I prefer it over the harshness of black paint, yet it’s a great alternative to black. I never realized how sever black looks next to dark walnut, my favorite is the spray paint version made by Rustoleum.

Somehow that dark walnut paint has been under my radar so I’m glad you told us about it! Love the clickable images that you have for your July wrapup! Can you believe that August is here?

Jane I can’t believe July is over and I think it’s been the hottest on record around here. I’m ready for fall! I love that plugin that makes the clickable images, so easy to do and I use it all over my blog now.

Shirley it’s a plugin and I love it. Makes it so easy to do a collage of prints.

Cheryl, what an undertaking for you and your daugher, wow a whole guest house. You will both be busy that’s for sure. Are you painting inside, outside or both?

We are painting the outside only…right now it is a dirty peachy colour and we will be painting it a bright yellow with white trim…hopefully it will look more cottage-ie . My daughter is only 15 so we are giving our selves 3 weeks to scrap and paint.
