Making of a Chalk Board

I was in desperate need of more chalkboard space.  Seems we have a long list of to do things.  I wanted to use things I had on hand so here is what I came up with.
I painted a white board with chalkboard paint and found 3 yard sticks to use as the frame.
I put it all together with my hot glue gun and even made a chalk tray from the scraps of yardstick.
I love doing quick projects when everything I need is scrounged from around the house.
Do you all have long “To Do Lists” also??

Very cute, and the yardstick border is adorable. I have a few chalkboards in progress and just have to finish up painting the frames. I’m hoping to keep one or two and hopefully sell the rest.
