Bubble LevelFor $2.15 this is the best little gadget ever. It’s a Bubble Level  that mounts into the hot shoe of any DSLR camera. PicMonkeyThis is one of my all time favorite, simple to use, and inexpensive photo editing program, PicMonkey. There’s a free version, but for $4.99 per month you have access to all it’s extra features. If you find Photoshop or something similar hard to learn and just don’t have the time to devote to it, I encourage you to invest the small amount of money and use PicMonkey

A Wired Remote Shutter Release (make sure you purchase the one that fits your camera….. Nikon or Canon) for $5.99 will help if you tend to have camera shake. You can mount your camera to a tripod, connect the cable, and stand back with the shutter release in your hand and just push the button. This is great for taking family photos, still shots for us bloggers, or dim lighting when you need your shutter to stay open longer but can’t get a clear shot by hand holding it.

My 10 Favorite Stocking Stuffers for Photographers and Bloggers. I own and use all the items on the list. Listed in order of cost with links to each item. Camera Cleaning Kit

There’s not much to say about a Camera and Lense Cleaning Kit  for $7.99 but it’s a must have item. If you have the kit it’s a good idea to get into the habit of cleaning  your equipment on a regular basis. I try and clean my lenses and camera mirrors every time I switch to a different lense. It’s quite amazing how much dust they collect.

Light Umbrella KitThe Umbrella Light Kit  for  $49.50 comes in handy when you have photos that have to be done and the lighting conditions are not ideal. A lot can be done with photo editing software but nothing takes the place of good lighting. I like that this kit folds up into a compact carrying case. I take mine with me when I do indoor senior portraits.

LightroomAnother affordable, more sophisticated photo editing software if Lightroom for  $142.99. You can pay a monthly fee and download it or try the 30 day free trial first to see how you like it, I prefer owning the disk so I can use it on several computers. It’s much easier to learn than photoshop, but also can’t do what photoshop can do. I use this program everyday for my blog.

My 10 Favorite Stocking Stuffers for Photographers and Bloggers. I own and use all the items on the list. Listed in order of cost with links to each item. Spyder Color Calibration

This is the best invention ever it’s a Spyder Color Calibrator for $149.99. It suction cups to the front of your computer and all by itself it actually calibrates the color of your computer monitor based on the setting you choose. For instance I use a professional lab for all my photos and I have my monitor calibrated to their printer settings. By doing this I am assured that what I see is what I get, the colors on my monitor are exactly the same as the colors on the labs printer. If you don’t have specific setting you can just let the machine do a standard color calibration. If you use a MAC the colors are normally spot on, they may need a slight adjustment but nothing like a PC. I do this once a month to my computer to insure accuracy at all times.

My 10 Favorite Stocking Stuffers for Photographers and Bloggers. I own and use all the items on the list. Listed in order of cost with links to each item. Canon 50mm lenseThis little gem is a bit pricey but worth every penny and it’s something you’ll never need to replace or upgrade the Canon 50mm 1.2L lens. If you use this on a full frame camera you can almost get away without owning another lens. It will take great macro photos as well as portraits.

y 10 Favorite Stocking Stuffers for Photographers and Bloggers. I own and use all the items on the list. Listed in order of cost with links to each item. Canon 24-70mm lens

If Santa has deep pockets make sure and put this on your list the Canon EF 24-70 mm 2.8L Lens for $1,799.00. If you can only own one lense this is the one. I use this more than any other lense in my bag, it’s perfect for close ups and whole rooms shots and the glass is unbelievably clear for family portraits. I seldom take this one off my camera anymore. It’s the best walk around lense when you only have room for one on vacation too.

Pick up a few of these things for your favorite shutter bug in the family.

These look like awesome products. I definitely need the little leverler. How cute. I need a full frame camera first and then the lenses. Hopefully I will get a new camera next year. I wish I had sweet family members buying me these things, but I’m afraid they will come out of my pocket.

Oh these are GREAT!! I have a Nikon D300 which I love. I have a 72mm that is my go to lens that I use most of the time but have a zoom lens and a 62mm that I use for close ups. That memory stick is so adorable and I really like the lighting kit and that bubble level looks awesome. Thanks for this great list and I think some of these will definitely be going on my Christmas list!

I had no idea that the little leveler existed! I’m always having to straighten my photos when I’m editing so I must really need that! Those umbrella lights have been on my list to purchase for quite some time, but other things just always seem to come up. But if I (or Santa) purchases them, I’ll use your link! Pinning your guide and sending the pin to Leo. We’ll see if he takes the hint!!!

Jane I love that you are sending your hint straight to Leo, I bet he understands. LOL Yes that level is the best thing for $2, I use it all the time.

Kris that level is the cleverest thing ever. I love mine.
