Valentine Bunting | No Sew

Easy No Sew Valentine BuntingI was so excited to have a 61 degree day in January here in Michigan that I got right on decorating the front porch for Valentine’s Day. I’ll be back to show it all off here soon, but I wanted to show you the Valentine Bunting that I put together to hang over the entrance first. The project couldn’t have been simpler. I did it all the lazy way, I purchased the canvas banner pre cut as well as the felt hearts. I had a roll of clothesline and clothespins so that’s what I used, no sewing at all. I hot glueing the hearts to the banner, added the close-line to existing hooks I have on the overhang, and clipped the banner to the line with clothespins.

Rustic Log Home Porch With Canvas and Felt No Sew Valentine BuntingDid you happen to notice I still have the Christmas lights on the boxwoods and the faux trees? I think it still looks pretty at night and doesn’t at all feel Christmassy to me. I even topped the trees with felt hearts just to make it look a little more like Valentine’s Day. Our porch is one of my favorite places to decorate, it’s always easy and look so nice when I pull up the driveway. I find myself going slow just so I can enjoy it’s view.

    1. Thanks Shirley, it looks a little out of place with all the snow we have again.

    2. Thank you Shirley it adds a little color for now. Everyting is dead in my neck of the woods this time of year.
