This weeks Wildflower is
“Queen Ann’s Lace”
It is a member of the carrot family.
It’s long tap root can be dug, roasted and ground as a coffee substitute.
If you place the stems in colored water the lacy white flower will turn the color of the water.
Such a interesting flower that most consider a weed, but I think it is beautiful.
