Spray Painted Pottery | DIY | Craft | Spray Paint | Turquoise | Zinnias | CreativeCainCabin.comMust be I’m in a crafty mood lately, I made pillowcases this week, and updated a ginger jar pottery piece with spray paint. I found the most beautiful color called Blue Ocean Breeze by Krylon and knew it would be perfect for making my 80’s pottery current again.

Spray Painted Pottery | DIY | Craft | Spray Paint | Turquoise | Zinnias | CreativeCainCabin.comWow, see how outdated the piece really was? I did love it for many years, and still like the shape but the color and scene on it had to go, so spray paint to the rescue. I did several light coats, outside, until I got the desired coverage. I think the glossy finish is the trick to making it look original, not painted.

I always plant one raised bed of Cosmos and Zinnias just for cutting purposes. They’re so easy all I do is sew the seeds and let them bloom. Zinnias are my favorite they last forever after being cut.

Spray Painted Pottery | DIY | Craft | Spray Paint | Turquoise | Zinnias | CreativeCainCabin.comAs you read this Hubby and I are signing the papers to put our guest house on the market, so now it’s official. Once it sells we will list the log home and then look hot and heavy for a new place. I’ve been searching the listings for either property or property with a fixer upper on it. I’ll let you know more when we know more. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

Shirley sometimes a good piece is salvageable with a little paint. May as well try before I send it off to the thrift store.
