Gift Wrap Ideas Using Craft Paper and Nature
Is your Christmas shopping done and you have all those gifts staring you in the face needing to be wrapped? Here’s an easy solution…..
Grab a roll of brown craft paper, and then wander around your house and collect things from nature to top the gifts with. I grabbed some greenery, and pine cones from outside and the cinnamon sticks from the kitchen. (The gift tags are available here to print.)
You can use scrap pieces of ribbon or ordinary string to tie the package off with, you don’t even need tape if you use the string.
To make the paper fun I used a paint pen and wrote “Merry Christmas” diagonally across the paper. Another easy trick I use, and you may have noticed it in the first photo, is decorate ordinary brown lunch bags. I added snowmen, and snowflakes to them using the white paint pen. They make for fun money gift bags.
Looks like Im done wrapping for this year, how are you coming along?
I LOVE to wrap gifts and will pin these ideas – thanks!
Barb, I love to wrap too. My mom always hated it so I did all her wrapping for her. Merry Christmas.
Hi Dawn,
These are great ideas. My favorite is the writing on the brown paper. I am going to remember this for next year. I think it would be so great to write a personal story on each package for the person you are gifting. Great idea. Merry Christmas my friend.

Kris, what a brilliant idea about the personal message. Now to just remember it for a year. LOL
I love this idea and you can do this through out the year too! Kathleen in Az
Yes Kathleen, it works great for any occasion and it’s my go to gift wrap. Merry Christmas!
