Fall Day Trip \ Dow Gardens

A DAY TRIP WITH FRIENDS TO SEE THE FALL COLOR TOUR GOING ON AT DOW GARDENS, MIDLAND MICHIGAN!

Dow Gardens

Fall color tour; this will be the last fall post of the season and I want to take you along to see just how beautiful Michigan can be when the landscape is bursting with color. The post is very heavy WITH photo and not wordy at all.

A quick run down: Dow Gardens The Whiting Forest at Dow Gardens in Midland Michigan was founded  by the Dow Chemical Company

It’s a 110-acre botanical garden, it currently contains over 1700 varieties of plants hardy in mid-Michigan. Theย nation’s longest canopy walk, a playground,ย apple orchard, restoration of Snake Creek, and two pedestrian bridges.ย Not to mention all the miles and miles you can walk to see how beautiful nature truly is.

There were hundreds of people there the day we went and because the property is so large I somehow was able to take photos without people in them, other than the ones with my hubby and our friends.

Iโ€™ll let you enjoy the pics and if youโ€™re ever in Michigan you should put this on your to do list. Enjoy!
