Look what I found at the consignment shop today!!!
I have been wanting to stop at this new consignment shop for quite some time, but every time I go by it is either horrible weather, that I don’t want to get out in, or I am in a hurry to be somewhere else.
Well today I decided I was going to make time and I’m so glad I did.
I purchased two enamel ware pieces and this original signed painting for under 20 dollars.
Can you believe I got the artwork for $5.  I about ripped it out of the ladies hand when she told me how much she was asking.  I was sure it had to be miss marked, but sure enough the tag was on the back and it did indeed say 5 buckaroos.
From the signature it looks like it was painted in 1980.
I’m not in love with the frame, but that can be changed at any time with a little paint.Stop back by to see how I plan to using the enamel ware pieces.

Ooh, very pretty. I want to guess how you are going to use them. My sister in law used some a certain way and that would be my guess (but I don’t want to give away that way in case I guessed right and ruin your surprise.) Do I make any sense at all….

What fun finds. I love that little oil painting. I always take the time to go through the pictures at a thrift store hoping to find an oil to add to my collection. Can’t wait to see what you do with the enamelware. Patty

    Hi Dawn,

The oil painting is a nice treasure to find. I have no idea what the plans are for the enamelware.
