I also like to keep it simple and inexpensive! Most of my fall decorating started with either apple that can be turned into recipes later, pumpkins that can be harvested for their seeds and meat, and mums that can go straight into the landscaping before the ground freezes.

I actually like decorating outside in fall better than I do inside. As the days grow darker and cooler the pop of color all the pumpkins and mums brings to a space; seems to bring new life to a slowing season.
