Decorating With Numbers

DO YOU DECORATE WITH NUMBERS? I’M SHARING WITH YOU TODAY MY FAVORITE NUMBER AND SHARING WHY IT’S MY FAVORITE!

Do you have a lucky number, a number that has special meaning to you, or a number that you gravitate towards? Well I do; and that number is 32. I wear it on a necklace and I decorate with it in our home. Any time I go to a thrift store or antique shops I’m on the lookout for said number.

For me the number 32 holds a special place in my heart, it’s the number my freighter son wears. For me I don’t need to see his number to identify which firefighters my son I can tell by the way he walks and moves which one he is but being able to see the number never hurts.

Hubby and I went to a new to us vintage junk shop and the minute I stepped through the door I spotted a pile of brass numbers and lucky me there was just the number I was looking for. I ended up purchasing two they both have a little different shape, which made them each unique.

Right now I have one hanging from the rack attached to the kitchen island but I know it will move around the house from time to time, but for now it’s home is right here where I can see it every day while I’m getting things around in the kitchen.

You can also see a sneak peak of my newly painted kitchen cupboards. I spent 3 days giving them a fresh coat of paint and I can’t believe how much better they look. The kitchen looks fresh and clean again.

I kidded with hubby saying now’s the time to sell the cabin; the furnace was fixed, the kitchen cupboards have been painted, and it’s getting a new roof.
