Frog Scrubby Holder
RETRO FROG SCRUBBY HOLDER! IT’S THE PERFECT ADDITION TO THE CABINS KITCHEN, AND MAKES ME HAPPY EVERY TIME I SEE IT!
Blast from the past! Do you remember these scrubby holders from the 70’s? You know the one that was in every kitchen across America. I happened to be in TJMaxx doing a return and while I was there I decided to do a quick sweep of the store to see if anything I just couldn’t live without caught my eye.
Well I’ll be darn there sitting on a shelf all by it’s little lonesome was this beautiful green scrubby holder frog, one look and the memories started flooding in. I remember growing up we had on at our kitchen sink, along with every other house in the neighborhood. It’s funny how items trigger memories, but that being said Mr. Frog jumped into my cart and was happy to make it’s new home in the cabin.
I love the green shade and it matches my kitchen perfectly. So far I haven’t used the scrubby, and don’t know if I will, I just wanted it because of the memories. It always amazes me the things that make their rounds in popularity. Everything from the past always seems to be recycled and becomes the new must have years later.

Adorable – and he even has polka dots! I have looked for one of these for years and years. I loved them as a kid and have often wondered why they’re no longer made.

I was in a Marshalls store a couple of weeks ago and saw a really cute frog spoon rest. Didn’t get it for some reason and am still kicking myself. Maybe I can find a froggy kitchen item at TJMaxx this week. They are such a smile to any kitchen.
