I ALWYAS LOVE IT WHEN I PURCHASE A TREE OR SHRUB ON THE CLEARANCE RACK AND IT TURNS OUT TO BE A SPETACULAR SHOW STOPPER LIKE THIS WHITE SUMMER SNOWFLAKE VIBURNUM FLOWERING SHRUB!

Snow On The Mountain

Score! I picked up 3 of this White Summer Snowflake Viburnum from the clearance rack at Lowes a few years back. By the way this is how I normally pick new things for our landscaping. I hate to pay full price so I wait until everything is marked down in the fall and that dictates what plants are in our landscaping.

Snow On The Mountain

When I picked them up they weren’t in bloom so all I had to go off was a picture on the plant stake. I thought they looked pretty, they were the right price, and so I hauled them home. Well I had no idea just how spectacular they’d turn out to be.

Snow On The Mountain

They give quite a show in spring and early summer with there bright white flowers that loads every branch. I love a truly showy shrub. There’s no mistaking when these babies are in bloom. Their beauty amazes me and makes me happy just to watch the hummingbirds and butterflies flutter amongst them.

Snow On The Mountain

I’m always happy when I pick white flower and white flowering shrubs they seem to look best against the dark wood of our cabin. I also have 3 Snowball Bushes planted around the perimeter of the cabin that I love. Snowball Bushes bring back memories from my childhood and as I got older I always kept a mental note to buy and plant them when I grew up.

The shrubs are finally to the point now where they’re hiding the wellhead, which was my original intention. Next to start blooming in this section will be the Hydrangeas and I can’t wait. I’ve even forgot what color they were so it will be a whole new surprise again this year.
