Rustic Log Home Christmas Bedroom

Rustic Log Home Christmas Bedroom DecorI can’t believe it but this year I decorated the master bedroom before decorating the main living area of our home. I had it all planned in my head so I went for it. For some reason I seem to have quite a collection of Christmas throw pillows so I decided to use some of them in the bedroom. (Pillow Source: White Wreath with Red Berries – TJMaxx, Evergreen Branch with Red Berries – Target, Red Critter Tree – Meijer).

Rustic Log Home Christmas Bedroom DecorI actually have a snowflake quilt but I decided to use the paisley one in Red, Gold, and Browns this year. It’s one of the quilts I kept when I was downsizing. It has a different pattern on the other side so I feel like I can get two looks out of one quilt.

Rustic Log Home Christmas Bedroom DecorFor my bedside side table I used my Pioneer Woman bowl filled with Epsom salts, a tiny deer, and dollar store pine trees. I’ve had the trees and deer in my craft bin and never got around to using them. It’s always fun to open the Christmas craft tote and discover new thing.

Rustic Log Home Christmas Bedroom DecorHow do you like my freebie Christmas tree? I was wanting something that looked a little more retro so I put a call out on Facebook to see if anyone had one they would like to get rid of. Luckily me, I had someone who wanted to get rid of this 6ft white tree. She even met me in town to deliver in. Score for sure!! I didn’t even bother adding lights, just red ornaments and I think it looks great.

Rustic Log Home Christmas Bedroom DecorI’ll be back later in the week to show you how I created the simple tree artwork. Do you decorate bedrooms in your house for Christmas too? If I don’t get our tree soon it may be the only room that gets a tree here this year.

    1. Joy we have the same taste. We went to get a tree but the place we buy from isn’t doing it this year so we came home with nothing. Im debating on whether to get one now or just pass this year.

I love your cozy bedding and your touches a Christmas. My neighbor has a white tree with red and silver ornaments with a red garland too. Free is always good in my book. Kathleen in Az
