Easy to Create Rustic Spring Centerpiece
Is it spring yet? I think Iโve been coaxing it along by creating a simple rustic centerpiece on our outside table. It was 48 here in Michigan, which is a heat wave so I was outside disposing of all signs of winter decorating.
Into the compost bin when the pine branches and the pine wreaths. I put away the old sled on the porch and the snow shovel. Fingers crossed the snow shovel is no longer needed.
I cut back my Russian sage from the landscaping and fixed a couple of birdhouses that didnโt fare well over the winter. I have birds that are building nests already so getting the house fixed was a priority for me. I enjoy feeding them and watching the entire process of nest building, laying eggs, and seeing the hatch.ย
Anyway, while I was outside enjoying the day I decided to give the dining table on our front porch a touch of spring. I purchased nothing. I made the grapevine wreath myself from vines that grow in our woods. The apple blossom wreath was repurposed, and you can see that here. I have a collection of the sea green bottles, and you can see them here. And the candle just in case the power goes out.ย
It was a tad windy so I had a hard time keeping the candle lit, so in some of the pictures it went out before I had a chance to capture the picture. I sat at the table into the evening reading and chatting on the phone. It sure was nice to be outside enjoying my porch again.
Very cute!!!
Beautiful and simple. So lovely!
